On The Road, Day 2: Let The Church Help

Every once in a rare while we see something in person that is so incredibly unintentionally funny that we almost pee our pants.  It is the sort of thing that one usually sees only on the internet.  And every once in a while, if we are really lucky, we have an opportunity to photograph that incredibly unintentionally funny thing, and we do post it to the internet, hoping that others will see it and think it is so funny that they will pee their pants, too.

Whenever I see this stuff (which is not Snopes-able) on the internet , I always wonder if it is a set-up. Now I know it can be real. That is so funny. Dare I send it to Aunt Natalie?
There is a quick-stop gas/snack store on the west side of Salisbury that was originally called Super Soda Center. At least ten years ago, it lost the “a” in “soda”. So it now in great huge letters, it goes by Super Sod Center. It will be a disappointment if they every replace the letter and take away one of life’s small chuckles.

There’s a place like that near me in NJ, a self-storage warehouse that has lost an S. Now it’s the Elf Storage building.

Seeing that sign has somehow dissolved some of the apprehension I had in moving out here. I hope they do more…

That sign’s awesome. I hope you added it to, like, the 50 “Funny Church Signs” pools on Flickr.

I’m glad to know some of these things we see online are real and not staged. It’s awesome.
